So, if the idea of a low carb breakfast isn’t floating your boat and you still feel you’re needing something sweeter to get you going in the morning, check out this delicious, nutritious gluten free and high protein granola recipe.

It’s packed with protein in the way of nuts and seeds and sweetened with maple syrup (a little goes a loooooong way).

Use gluten free oats, choose your own variations of nuts and seeds, eat it alone, with almond milk or sprinkled over the top of natural yoghurt with fruits of your choice.

Ingredients:
2 cups of gluten free oats
3/4 cup each pecans and cashews (rough chopped… I put them in the blender for a few secs) 1/2 cup each pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and unsweetened coconut
About 1/4 cup olive oil
About 1-4 cup maple syrup
1.5 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp sea salt
Method:

Stir and spread into 2 baking sheets.

Bake at 180ish for 25-30 minutes.
Stir halfway through the baking time.

Allow to cool and enjoy!
